History was made, as anyone may ask if the Ghana versus Nigeria match was replayed in the University pitch on Friday March 31st, 2022 as lovers of football among staff and students stormed the field to give supportive accolades to the Crawford FC who in return did not disappoint their cheering Fans.
It was all joy, laughter, chanting, cheers and jubilation from the host football supporter Fans of Crawford University. The University Football Club (CRAWFORD FC) had a leg clash with a community Football Club (DYNAMIC FC).
The football match which lasted with a Referee play time of sixty minutes was full of anxiety, shock, trolls, fun, laughter etc. While the Dynamic FC played their chances to the angels in the sky, the Crawford FC kept the pressure high with their opponent while dominating the game with 60:30 ball possession. Alas! it was a fantastic goal from super skilled striker, Idowu Adeoluwa a 400 level student, who laced a shot to the goal post of the opponent, giving the Crawford FC a goal and a nil to the opponent.

The final whistle blew, and it was jubilation galore from the Crawford students supporters club, putting a uniformity touch light on in emotions for support to their team.
Speaking with the University IPPR Correspondence, Mr. Steven who is the Head Coach for Dynamic FC was not encourage with the defeat of the game. ” I can’t speak right now because my boys did not encourage me, we undermine the University Football team” he said.
While appreciating the Dean of Students Affairs (Dr. Gbenga Aladegbola) for the privilege given to the students to engage in sport game with neighboring Football Club in the community axis, a welcome development that will spur the university to lime light vis à vis engaging the community youths around it’s environs.
“At least I’m happy now and fulfilled that we won the match.” Dr. Aladegbola.
